Giving Back Is at the Heart of Kimberly King Media
At Kimberly King Media, public relations has always been about more than headlines—it’s about making a meaningful impact in the community.
For more than 20 years, Kimberly King has used her voice, media experience, and relationships throughout San Diego to help nonprofits, healthcare organizations, law enforcement agencies, schools, and community leaders share stories that inspire action. From serving as an Emmy Award-winning television journalist to founding a boutique public relations agency in San Diego, Kimberly has remained committed to shining a light on organizations that make our community stronger.

Throughout her career, Kimberly has volunteered her time as an emcee, board member, communications leader, media relations consultant, and advocate for causes close to her heart. Her work has supported organizations including United Cerebral Palsy, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers, Cathedral Catholic High School, Children’s Hospital, San Diego State University, the Down Syndrome Association of San Diego, The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, the Chula Vista Police Foundation, and many others. She has also become a passionate advocate for Alzheimer’s awareness, pancreatic cancer research, and the men and women who serve in law enforcement.

This commitment to service shapes how Kimberly King Media works with every client. Whether partnering with a nonprofit seeking greater awareness or a business looking to build credibility through strategic public relations, the goal remains the same: tell authentic stories that educate, inspire, and create lasting impact.
As a boutique PR agency in San Diego, Kimberly King Media believes that every organization has a story worth telling. Through media relations, branding, media training, video production, and strategic communications, we help mission-driven organizations amplify their message, connect with their audiences, and grow their influence.
Because the best public relations isn’t just about being seen—it’s about making a difference.
